Hula Hoop Classes Brighton

It's lovely to hear from everyone in the Dreamspin family so if you have a review or would like to contribute your experience on your hula hoop flow journey, please drop us a line.

"Clare ran a hooping workshop, followed by a performance at our wedding in September. I cannot recommend her enough, it was such a hit and I had so many lovely comments about how good she was and what fun everyone had learning a new skill. Children and grown ups all joined in and it gave our day an extra special feel that brought everyone together and gave our guests a big smile in the process! Clare performed with LED hoops afterwards which was just brilliant and really enjoyed by everyone! Clare was so friendly and the whole process was super easy to organise – thank you Clare for giving us and our guests some great memories!"
"Clare from DreamSpin Hoop Dance added a fun and active extra dimension to our storytelling event. The children (and a few adults) loved having a try at hula hoops and Clare was an inspiring performer to watch and great instructor." (Hastings Festival, 18 Hours Events and Education, Hastings, East Sussex, TN34 1DT)
"Clare has been a pleasure to work with over the past year. She is extremely talented and friendly with the ability to make each session fun for everyone; from complete beginners to the more experienced hoopers. It has been great to be able to offer something new to our students and we look forward to working with Clare
again in the future!" (Project OfficerSport Brighton University of Brighton)

We were really impressed by your non-stop performance at our event. Which fitted in really well with our health, wealth and well-being theme. The customers seemed mesmerised  when you were both on stage.Thanks Ann-Maree, Regional Social Inclusion Team Leader - Southern region Family Mosaic Millbrook Southampton SO15 0SD

Hi Clare, Just wanted to say thank you for coming to Dolly's birthday party and teaching hula hoop with all the kids and giving such a brilliant demo! The kids loved it almost as much as all the adults! It was really great and really good value especially with the added bonus of the pink sparkly hula hoop specially for Dolly. Hope all is going well and thanks again. - Pat, Rosie and Dolly

“The hoop class for the Asian women’s group was great fun! Clare made it accessible for all to participate regardless of ability and all the women enjoyed learning the tricks. We mostly spent the class laughing!”I’ve also attached a photo of Sheuli who won’t mind her picture being on the website. - Rhiannon Johns, , Acting Active for, Life Manager ,B&H City Council

"Clare has encouraged, motivated and inspired me on my hooping journey."

"I started as an absolute beginner and only through Clare’s enthusiasm, infectious hooping passion and incredible patience, that I gained confidence in my own hooping abilities. Clare is a reliable, supportive and superb hooping teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed Clare’s classes I left feeling energised, motivated and longing for the next class.  I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for lessons either as a beginner or improver!"

"the most fun and creative way to lose 2 inches" Sarah Gerrard

Dreamspin made a fanastic contribution to our summer events this year - absolutely everyone loved Clare and her hoops!! We had toddlers trying hoop dance for the first time alongside grandmothers having a go for old times sake - and then vowing to continue on a regular basis! Clare is especially good at drawing people in and an excellent teacher and motivator - we hope to work with her again sometime soon.

I have been on 4 of Clare's hooping courses over the last year and they are great! When I started I could only hoop round my waist and now I have lost count of the number of moves I have learned. Classes are so much fun I forget I'm doing lots of exercise plus Clare has excellent taste in music and the classes are so reasonably priced I know I will always keep coming back....POW! -  Katie B

"Clare's classes are really fun! good exercise, and you get to learn a new skill as well. Highly recommended!"

- Mary Reynolds

I had so much fun taking part in the workshop – I haven’t laughed like that for ages!
Despite a few bruises and near misses with the hula hoop – I survived the session, and remarkably I can actually do a few moves. It’s definitely inspired me to get a hoop for myself and I’m looking forward to getting fit – the fun way! All the best, Charlie

I attended 3 Hoop Courses with Clare and thoroughly enjoyed them.  I learnt lots of moves as well as the basics, not to mention a great work out.  Clare is the most patient teacher I have ever known!   - Margaret Hemper

"I recently met Clare at a festival and was amazed with her hoop dancing!! I've since then only had one lesson with her and I'm already hooked, she's a very patient and encouraging teacher and I can't wait for my next lesson!"  It's true! - Emily Wallis

Clare is a really inspiring teacher, who is encouraging, and a wonderful hooper and dancer herself.
Would definitely recommend her classes. -  Josie Darling
I really loved taking hooping classes with Clare last summer. She got me doing all kinds of tricks I didn't know about and always left the class super high with energy. She also has great music which really helps get into the rhythm! Thanks Clare! - Emily Shaw

Hoop Dance, What can I say? I cannot express in words how liberating, exciting, exhausting and not to mention challenging a mild obsession has become!  I could hula hoop as a child and therefore thought the basics would be little problem. To my despair, as an adult all my hoop did for the first few session was fall to the floor.   Thankfully I wasn't alone. What a relief to see that the classes cater for all levels and Clare's positive, encouraging tuition consistently banishes any feelings of self consciousness or incompetence. After 3 or so classes I found myself hooping confidently and to my suprise even able to pull off a few moves. The day I mastered the "Lift Off" (sign up and you will know what I mean!) left me with a feeling of such freedom and satisfaction, I was totally overjoyed.

Clare's knowledge and pure enthusiasm for her art results in swift and dynamic progress.  The classes are fun, suprisingly physical and challenging. Within the groups there no feelings of competition, just encouragement and excitement for each other as we all progress at our own personal speed. As a tutor Clare commands and controls the group with clear and precise instructions, whilst also finding the time to "trouble shoot" and provide one to one moments of tuition to us all. I cannot recommend Clare and her hoop dance classes enough.  If you are thinking about giving it a go - do it, you will not be disappointed.

Dream spin classes are fun, exciting and challenging. Clare lets you learn at your own pace as well as giving you the confidence to push yourself further. This is the first time I have ever tried hooping and I can honestly say, I never thought I would look forwards to exercising so much each week. A creative and dynamic way to learn, keep fit and make friends. I will definitely be continuing the course  thanks Clare - Simone Lacey-Breckell

Hooping is the best hobby I've ever had! It's great fun and unbelievably rewarding when you've mastered a new trick ! I absolutely love it. Clare is a fantastic hooper and a very lovely personable teacher. The other hoopers are women (though we did have a guy in our class too) of all ages and at all levels of hooping. Yet Clare makes it work, she makes sure to spend time with everyone, so you always come away feeling you've learned something new. I first thought that I would learn a few tricks off the internet. Instead I find myself joining Clare's classes time and again, and I think it's her warm personality, motivation and the fact that I've progressed so rapidly in the past year (despite not practising at home..) that make me do so. - Kristl Crumpstone
